Long before creating Twitter, Jack Dorsey helped create Xanga, one of the original blogging communities. I was "friends" with Jack on Xanga, and in 2006 he started posting about his new site called Twitter (click on photo for bigger image).
Since I was one of his only Xanga friends using his new "Twitter" site, he made a special post to thank me.
As one of the first Twitter users, I helped with some early Twitter Beta testing.
Jack also emailed me directly a few times, which was neat.
As one of the earliest Twitter users, I've also got some firsts under my belt.
